Biography

Autumn Nicks, born in Vista, California, is the oldest of five children (she has three brothers and a sister) born to parents who both had a gift for music. Her father was an accomplished guitarist. Her mother also plays guitar, writes Christian folk songs, and sings. From the time Autumn was a very small child in western Colorado, her parents knew that her life would revolve around music, and most especially, the piano. For her third Christmas they bought her very first piano ~ a table top, two octave keyboard in wood veneer. She played it incessantly for years, making up songs to sing while she tinkled the ivories.
Formal piano lessons began at seven and Autumn never looked back. By the age of 14, she had several beginning students of her own. It was evident that accompaniment was her strong suit by middle school, when she began to accompany school musicals. Since then she has had extensive experience in piano accompaniment as well as performance. She has used her talents at UCLA's summer music theatre camps, accompanying students from all over the world as they develop their own musical skills, and most recently has performed with the Antelope Valley Symphony Orchestra as a guest pianist.
Autumn is also a gifted vocalist, and has sung special numbers for church services from quite a young age. She began singing duets with her mother at a very young age as well, but soon spread her vocal wings and soared boldly out on her own.
Autumn Nicks currently resides in Studio City, California. She performs with numerous organizations through out the greater Los Angeles area during the year as she pursues other dreams.
